Having owned and operated a stack of Businesses in a range of industries over the past 30 years, I learned business at the school of hard knocks. You name it, I bet it has happened to me at some point!

I was a Control Freak! (Yeah no one could do anything as well as me)
I was working 100 plus hours a week in the Businesses.
I gained 38 kilograms in under 2 years!
My mates stopped ringing me to play tennis, golf, go sailing and socializing!
I always struggled to pay the bills, even in high turnover businesses!
I feared pay day? (Have you ever had to pay the payroll on a credit card?)
I thought I knew it all?
I was paying 38 staff watch me do all the work?

The reality was that I wasn’t sufficiently educated to be running a business. I had never been trained on Recruitment, Systems, Finance , Leadership, Marketing, Sales, Emotional intelligence, Planning, the Internet, Customer Loyalty, Team Building (to name a few). Nor did I understand the connection between MIND and BODY, the fatter I got, the worse I functioned in ALL aspects of Business and Life.
